Due to a tragic accident our sweet girl Mika was taken from this world on August 13, 2009. Mika was a beautiful girl whom we were blessed and priveleged to love in our home for the first part of her life. In particular she loved spending time with our son Nicholas - building snow forts with him or just hanging out - and snuck onto his bed for a snuggle whenever she could. When Mika did not pass all of our criteria to be included in our breeding program - we said a very difficult good-bye to Mika and she moved a few miles north to live with my parents - Jim and Friedel Taylor where she was pampered and spoiled to her heart's content. Fortunately she was still able to visit often and loved playing with all of her golden friends.
Mika was a wonderful, easy-going, happy girl who just loved attention. She loved children and people and had a funny way of "talking" to you whenever she was excited about something. She loved long walks and swimming in the river and had a wonderful life.
Mika will be missed beyond words - and will be remembered forever for her adorable character and charm.
