- IVY -
Ivy is a beautiful girl with a very confident, happy and easy-going personality. She was the "pick of the litter" from our lovely "Luck o' the Irish" litter born on St. Patrick's Day, 2014. She is the daughter of our beautiful Opal (Canadian Champion Kilkenny von Babelsbergi)
and charming Hudson (Canadian Champion Dreamkeeper Unforgettable Song - bred by us and owned by Kerri Christman of Regal goldens) and brings together two very special and treasured pedigrees containing predominantly Swedish lines.
Ivy seems to have inherited many great attributes from both of her parents. She has the same sweet and gentle nature as her mother and a great love for the water and love for life like her father Hudson.
She has a great will to please and is a very loyal and affectionate girl. She is never far from the side of her best friend Hugo -- both Ivy and Hugo have been inseparable since puppyhood and enjoy many adventures together!
Ivy has nice conformation and solid structure; she is a moderate girl, neither overdone nor underdone with lovely expression and an exquisite face. She floats on the move and has effortless reach and drive.
Ivy had a brilliant start to her show career taking Winner's Bitch under judge Mark
Houston-McMillan her first day out in the ring and then going on to take BEST OF THE BREED and a group 4th under respected breeder-judge Judy Taylor in a large class the same weekend. On December 28th, 2015
Ivy was back in the ring and obtained the last points needed at the Elora Gorge Kennel Club, gaining her Canadian Championship in record time! We feel very honoured
to have this delightful girl as part of our family!
